ISBHF World Junior Update

Players, Coaches and Parents are getting excited to go to what is rounding out to be the largest collection of National Teams for the 2014 ISBHF World Juniors. Slovak President and ex-NHL star Jozef Stumpel has our Slovak family and tournament organization ready to accept the players convening to Bratislava. And they are very excited for this event.  Bratislava is historical for Ball Hockey because the  rst ISBHF World Championship was held in 1996. With Canada winning over the Czech Republic at the men’s division with only 7 teams attending.  The players can be ready for the biggest ball hockey challenge of their lives playing players from around the World.  All in search of Gold. Here is a quick update of the ISBHF communication received from teams who have committed to attend the real deal. The 2014 ISBHF World Junior Championships in our ISBHF family nation of Slovakia.

The ISBHF is still working on final teams.  But this event will total over 20 National teams which signifies a first for the ISBHF and is a harbinger of this being a fulsome event in the years ahead.

This tournament will also have a another team important to the event. It will have 16 International Referees.  Coming from Canada, USA, Czech, Slovakia, Switzerland, United Kingdom.

Finally in this hockey mad culture of Slovakia you can expect to see a knowledgeable and passionate turnout from hockey fans who will be cheering for their home nation and the pride they have to try and beat the best in the World.  The Arena itself will be filled with hockey fans and a great atmosphere.

The ISBHF and the Slovak Tournament Committee are ready to have this showcase come back to historical Bratislava.  The city and its restaurants, hotels and history await. The ISBHF 2014 World Junior Championships. This is a very big deal!!
